Robotics engineer, researcher, founder.
I build machines that have to work outside the lab: in greenhouses, in hospitals, in competition arenas and on production lines.
I studied Mechanical Engineering at the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), specialising in robotics and mechatronics. My thesis rebuilt and evaluated an anthropomorphic robotic hand. Since 2025 I am a PhD candidate at HMU.
In 2019 I joined HMU’s Control Systems & Robotics Laboratory (CSRL) as an intern, then worked as a researcher on two funded agri-food programmes, Agro4Crete and SOUP. From 2023 to 2024 I was the lab’s manager.
In 2024 I founded SVK Robotics, an engineering company in Heraklion that takes robotics, embedded systems and industrial software from prototype to production. Since 2026 I am also CEO of NEA GENIA Technologies, and I manage projects for AERIS GROUP HMU.

Teaching the next builders
From September 2022 to June 2025 I taught educational robotics at the Robotic and Science Academy in Crete. My students took first place in the Freestyle category at RoboChallenge in Bucharest. In 2023 I coached the Greek National Robotics Team, and since 2024 I sit on the board of the Hellenic Educational Robotics Organization (H.E.R.O.). In 2021 I co-founded the HMU Robotics Club and served as its first president.
